i'm josh reich. former professional river guide finding his way into the outdoor product industry.

i was fortunate to grow up in the beautiful salt lake valley at the base of the iconic cottonwood canyons where my love for the outdoors was born. while i was pursuing my undergrad i worked as a river guide on the colorado river during the summers and worked restaurant jobs in the winter so i could ski as much as possible, i was living the dream. in August of 2022 though i began a new dream, i got married and decided it was time for me to pursue a 'grown-up' job. i thought to myself, if i can't be the dirtbag navigating people through white water i want to be part of the industry that supplies the dirtbags with the equipment they need to do what they love. while on the river i saw firsthand the effects of climate change and i want to be a part of the movement that has to take place in the sport and outdoor industry to cut back on our contribution to the climate crisis and protect the places we love.

i will be graduating with my master's degree in sports product management in the spring of 2025 and when i am not studying you can find me on the slopes of mount hood, the trails of forest park, or on the beach of the oregon coast. i enjoy creating things, working with my hands, learning how things are made and function, and spending time with my friends and family.
